This tutorial is for intermediate to advanced users ... it's a bit more complicated than my usual tutorials but well worth the effort. If you are a beginner PSP user you can email me for help if you are having a hard time .

What you will need:
PSP
Super Blade Pro
Xenofex 1.1
Namesuppressed Autocromatic2 filter
(not released yet but the First Autocromatic filter will work)

You can download a trial version of SBP from the FlaminPear website
All the Name suppressed filters are shareware so if you like them and can afford it please purchase.
Xenofex 1.1 is soley comercial ... if you don't have it and can't afford it email me for alternate instructions.
 

Create New image 220x300

Open tube of choice, (tall tubes work best) Shift+D to duplicate, close original tube without saving.

Resize duplicate tube to 250 height


Sharpen image twice
Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen

copy Make the new blank image you created active then paste as new layer or Ctrl+L Using mover tool move the pasted graphic to the right side of the canvas but not too close to the edge.
Text tool aprx size 36 pattern fill white
Rotate Left 90°

Use SBP to give the text a 3D look

Use a preset that goes well with the tube you have chosen.

If you don't have SBP you can do and inner Bevel or use a PSP preset
Using the mover tool move the text so that it is right next to the graphic but not quit touching. Selections/Select none
Using the mover tool again center the graphic (text and tube) on the canvas
Go to the Layer pallet, Right click on the current layer (this should be layer2)and duplicate it.
Make layer 2 the active layer (Layer 1 should be a blank layer without anything on it)
Go to selections and select all, with the selection tool click anywhere on the graphic
Selections/ Modify/Expand
Expand the selection by 7
Selections/Modify/Feather
feather 5

Flood fill with a busy and high contrast fill pattern

Go to Selections/Select None

Autocromatic filter

If you are using the old autocromatic filter use a midtone color and Black or white. The effect wont be quite the same but it will be close enough.

Xenofex Showerdoor filter

Dot Size =13
Random Speed = 40
If you don't have the Xenofex filter you can use PSP's fur, email me for further instructions.

 
Make layer1 active and flood fill with color of your choice.
This step is not nessessary if you will be using on a white background
File Save as, chose JPEG for file type and name your file ... under options set compression between 10 and 15
