| Create a new image 350x350 |
Chose the Preset Shapes tool |
| In the tool options window Pick the circle in the dropdown menu. Check creat as Vector and uncheck the rest of the boxes. Line width should be between 1 and 3. | ![]() |
| Left Click in upper left corner of your blank image. While holding down, drag to the lower Right corner. leaving apprx 50 pixels around the edges. | ![]() |

Chose the text tool Then left click. |

First make sure you have preview checked and locked down ... that is the symbol of the eye in the lower right of the text window. Type your text and repeat until you see the ends are close to meeting. If you can't see where the ends will meet up move the text window until you can see that part of your graphic. Highlight all the text you've typed and adjust the kerning to make the space where the text meets even with the rest. *hint ... if you would like the text to be inside the circle insead of outside ajust the Leading |

| To hide the circle you can click on the eyeglasses in the Layer Palette window. | ![]() |
| Your text should already be selected and floating. You can copy and paste your text as a new layer on any graphic you chose ... then do any text effects you would like. | ![]() |
